Train Shunting Puzzle Redux
August 2023 - November 2023
Move the trains and train cars to their correct stations in this puzzle game. Use good organization to navigate 20 levels of tricky railyards, or create your own! Here's what I did to assist in its production:
- I programmed in C# to add mechanics and QoL features
- I designed and built simple assets using Blender
- I fixed countless bugs and errors
S.A.L.L.Y
January 2022 - May 2022
As part of FIRST Robotics' FRC competition, I led the programming of Team 3618's robot. Able to accurately shoot foam balls into a basket 9 feet high and climb up a long set of rungs with ease, SALLY made its way to the Michigan state finals. Here's what I did to get it there:
- I programmed in Java to make the various motors, servos, and sensors function properly
- I led the rest of the programming team, teaching others the concepts and processes required to write the code themselves
- I captained the drive team, communicating with a small group to make key decisions and movements under heavy time constraints
CutlersOnline.com
May 2023 - August 2023
Working with Cutlers of Petoskey and Common Angle, I coordinated the development of Cutlers' new website. This new site is a much needed improvement on the original, with improved UI, new features, and a much more streamlined backend. Here's what I did to help:
- I collaborated with cross-functional teams, including frontend and backend developers, to facilitate the development of the website
- I employed rigorous testing and debugging techniques to identify issues, and clearly communicated issues found in written and oral forms
- I made minor changes and adjustments to the site itself using HTML, such as formatting changes and product information changes
